Biography of Founder 
Christine Pomerenke is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) since 1990 with over 25 years of professional Occupational Safety and Health experience in a variety of workplace environments.  She is also a Certified Ergonomic Evaluation Specialist (CEES).

Before founding CIH Ergonomics LLC, Ms. Pomerenke worked at IBM, Salt River Project, Motorola, Rohm and Haas and the Dow Chemical Company.  She was appointed and served as the Chairperson of Motorola's Ergonomic Center of Excellence from 1995-1998.  Christine was elected to Chair Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector's Industrial Hygiene Technical Council from 1998-2002.  She also participated as a Corporate EHS Auditor at Motorola and Rohm and Haas from 1995-2009.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Science degree, major in Occupational Safety and Health, from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.

Ms. Pomerenke completed numerous continuing education coursework in ergonomics such as Applied Industrial Ergonomics conducted by Humantech, and Ergonomic Professional Development Courses offered at American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) and American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Conferences.

Christine is on the on the Board of Directors for Semiconductor Environmental, Safety and Health Association (SESHA), and has served as a Steering Committee member since 2001.  She is currently the President of the SESHA Arizona Local Chapter.
